Semen
Brigadier was imported from France in 1987, and has been an extremely successful all round bull. He has been continuously used up until 1997 in a Friesian Herd, where the heifer calves were retained and put back to another Parthenais bull, then sold when calved with their three quarter bred calves at foot to record very satisfactory returns. The Parthenais x Friesian bull calves are taken through as bull beef and also maintain top market returns. Semen from Brigadier has been considerably transferred, with the bull coming well recommended for pedigree, dairy and commercial suckler use.
